Tata Harrier EV: An Overview

The diesel and electric Tata Harriers have a similar design. Its connected LED headlights and DRLs are same, and its general design is comparable. EV-specific features like the blanked-off grille, silver front bumper highlights, and a silver fake skid plate are what make it unique. The front doors have “.ev” logos, and the 19-inch alloy wheels have aerodynamic covers. The roof spoiler and linked LED tail lights remain on the back end, but a new skid plate with vertical slats is added.

The Harrier EV’s cabin layout is comparable to that of the diesel variant, but it has a new, more contemporary white and grey color scheme. Features like the 10.25-inch digital driver’s display and the 4-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated emblem are still present. The primary modification is a larger 14.5-inch QLED touchscreen, which is unprecedented for any Tata product.

The Harrier EV’s features include a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, a 10-speaker JBL sound system, powered and ventilated front seats, and dual-zone automatic air conditioning with rear vents. Additionally, it has a digital key, boss mode for the front passenger seat, and multicolored ambient lighting. Features including boost mode, off-road assistance, V2L and V2V charging capabilities, and a transparent bonnet view via the 360-degree camera are unique to the EV.
Seven airbags (six standard), a 360-degree camera with blind spot recognition, front and rear parking sensors, a tire pressure monitoring system, and an electronic parking brake with auto hold are all included in the Harrier EV’s safety features. Additionally, it has Level 2 ADAS capabilities like driver attention warning and adaptive cruise control.
